Rebecca Hanson | Chair 

Rebecca grew up in Caldwell, attended local schools and graduated from The College of Idaho with a BA in Music. She traveled and lived outside Idaho for several years, but returned to care for family. She is currently the Democratic candidate for the State House Seat 10A.  She volunteers for several other local organizations including Caldwell Fine Arts and Deer Flat Refuge.

Vice Chair | Michele Stephens

Former Secretary Michele Stephens is vice chair and a leader of the events and outreach committee.  She is also an active member of our door knocking crew.  With a degree in business management and 10 years experience with Idaho Health and Welfare, she brings a wide range of skills to the tasks ahead.

Rhonda Aman | Secretary

Rhonda grew up in Idaho and attended Caldwell Schools as well as a couple years in college.  Her father fostered her interest in politics, and encouraged her "to jump in with both feet". She is also an animal lover and strong supporter of animal rights.

 

Joanna Tucker | Treasurer

Joanna is an experienced journalist, an author, and a businesswoman. She has been treasurer since June 2013, filing those important Sunshine Reports conscientiously.

Judy Ferro | Communications Chair

Judy, an Idaho native, was a school teacher and librarian for 35 years. An avid writer, she’s written many newspaper articles and columns, several successful grant applications, and two historical novels for young adults. She’s been active with the Canyon County Democrats for 20 years.

Pat Day Hartwell | State Committeewoman

Pat Day Hartwell has been an active Democrat for years.  While living in Idaho Falls, she was active in getting programs to protect women and children against violence in Idaho.  She is currently a candidate to represent District 12 in the legislature.  She and her husband Jack raise sheep and process wool at the Lazy PJ Ranch in Nampa.

Rex Hanson | State Committeeman

Rex came to Caldwell in 2015 after a 30+ year career as a geologist.  Having moved frequently with his job, he is eager to put down roots and contribute to Idaho and the local community.

  1. I wrote to Senator Risch about impeaching and voting out Mr.Trump.
    I received back a letter that has the following quote ” The Constitution describes the crimes for which a president may be impeached as “high crimes and misdemeanors.” Mere political policy disagreements do not reach those standards.”
    I believe that Risch ( lover of political power) will see the Ukraine as mere political policy. What a shame that he will not see it for what it is. Bribery and treasonous.
    I thought you might like to know what the Republican establishment is saying.
